If you enable iCloud backup on your device, this data may be included in your personal iCloud backup under Apple's privacy terms. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
When you submit a URL or interact with a third-party website through Cheetah, the app communicates directly with that website to retrieve content. We do not log, store, or analyze the URLs you visit or download.
Network connections made by the app may include standard technical information (such as your IP address) sent to the destination server you are interacting with — this is a fundamental part of how the internet works and is not controlled by us.
If you have opted in via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, anonymized crash logs and performance data may be shared with us through Apple's standard diagnostic framework. This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve app stability.
Cheetah is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Cheetah is a general-purpose download manager that may interact with third-party websites at your direction. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms, or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies before interacting with them.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Cheetah complies with all applicable laws and the terms of service of any third-party website or content provider. Cheetah does not host, distribute, or take ownership of any content downloaded through the app.
Because Cheetah stores your data locally on your device, the security of that data depends on the security of your device (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, iOS updates). We recommend keeping your device and iOS up to date.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws), you may have rights regarding your personal data. Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side. You may delete all app-related data at any time by uninstalling Cheetah from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or release notes.
